BJP International Photography Award 2017

The 11th edition of the British Journal of Photography International Photography Award (BJP IPA) 2017

Photographers from any country are invited to enter for an opportunity to receive a three week solo exhibition at the TJ Boulting gallery in London along with a UK£5000 production grant from UK pro-lab, Metro Imaging. In addition, the BJP will publish the winner’s photography across its own print, online and social media which will have wide reach internationally. And file transfer website WeTransfer will showcase the award-winner’s project on their home page for three weeks, meaning exposure to a global audience of creatives. Candidates for the International Photography Award 2017 can submit projects on any topic and using any kind of camera or capture method.

Juno Calypso won the Series Award in 2016 for her project Joyce, a collection of performative self-portraits that reflect on “modern rituals of seduction and the laboured construction of femininity.”
