The new Pentax K-70 hands-on test by The Camera Store to see if it can rival Nikon and Canon APS-C format DSLRs

Built as a DSLR for rugged outdoor photography, the Pentax K-70 boasts a 24 MP APS-C size AA filterless CMOS sensor which is also equipped with what Pentax have called “Pixel Shift Resolution with Motion Correction”. It’s compact, weather-sealed, and dust-proof and cold-proof design lends the camera well to active and demanding shooting in all weathers including in temperatures down to -10°C (including, of course, with gloves on). The Pentax K-70 promises super-sharp high-resolution images, hoping to prove the most capable image maker in its price bracket.
